Always in a hurry
Always on the go.
Never learned to settle down
Never could go slow.
Always thought tomorrow
Never held much fright
Always thought that yesterday
Never worked out right.
Always thought that ‘someday’
Never would get here.
Always going somewhere but
Never getting there.
Always met to tell you
Never took the time.
Always knew I loved you
Never thought you’d mind.
Always doesn’t matter now
Never fills the air.
Always knew you’d leave someday
Never knew how much I’d care.
