Life’s Little Agonies
Life’s little agonies
A curse of the old.
Ending up broke
In a climate that’s cold.
A mate that don’t love you
And kids that don’t care.
Knees that won’t bend
And losing your hair.
Wearing old clothes
That used to be hip
Losing your hearing
And loosing your grip.
How could we know
In the days of our youth
That being this old
Would be this uncouth.
