If You Didn’t Need The Money…
The money that we earn
Never seems to cure the yearn
Or scratch the itch
Or even sooth the burn.
We work hard just to retire
But our debts get even higher
Buying things we do not need
But still require.
So…
If you didn’t need the money
Would you do it?
Would you go to work each day
Or just say “screw it!”
Seems like all the bills we pay really never go away,
So it’s pointless when you really come down to it.
